Uddhava's Lesson in Vrindavan

He went to teach them, and they taught him instead.

He went to teach them, and they taught him instead.

The errand

Krishna had been gone from Vrindavan a long time before he finally sent anyone back.

And he did not go himself. He sent Uddhava - his closest friend and minister, and a man as learned in scripture as anyone at the Dwaraka court.

He was chosen because Krishna trusted him to carry something delicate. An answer, of a kind, to a village that had never stopped waiting.
