Tales of the Gods
The creator of the universe tries to test a cowherd boy, and discovers his own universe is not the only one.
The maker of the world decided to test a cowherd child, and found out how many makers there were.
Brahma had heard about the boy in Vraja.
He had made this world. He had set its first laws running, and had overseen it through ages.
And he found it truly hard to take, on the word of cowherds, that something walking about inside his creation might be bigger than the creation itself.
So he did what a powerful being does when he thinks something is beyond him. He did not ask. He set a test.
